Universal Studios Home Entertainment has informed retailers today that Law & Order: Criminal Intent – The 5th Year will be coming to DVD on May 18th. The 2005-2006 season of the show, which aired 22 episodes on NBC, will arrive home a couple of months after the ninth season debuts on the USA Network.

Chris Noth and Annabella Sciorra joined the cast during this season. It’s no surprise, of course, that Fred Dalton Thompson was around. Guest stars during the fifth season included Olivia d’Abo (returning as “Nicole Wallace”), Colm Meaney, Samantha Mathis, Brad Renfro, Elizabeth Reaser, Alice Krige, Whoopi Goldberg, Glynnis O’Connor and Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss. At the end of the season several cast members exited, including Courtney B. Vance (now seen on FlashForward).

Video on this 5-DVD set will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, and audio will be in English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround. English subtitles are also included. The cost is $59.98 SRP. Package art isn’t available yet, but stay tuned and we’ll bring that to you just as soon as we can!

Chris Noth says his ‘Sex and the City’ co-star Sarah Jessica Parker is fussy about what people call her and hates it if anyone addresses her as ‘Sarah’.

Sarah Jessica Parker gets “annoyed” if people don’t use her full name.

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress’ co-star Chris Noth claims the 44-year-old star – who plays sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw – shows her diva side when her second name is dropped.

He is quoted by website Absolute Now as saying: “I sometimes call her Sarah. But it is really Sarah Jessica. She gets annoyed with most people when they call her just Sarah. Luckily she gives me a dispensation on that. Otherwise it’s SJ or Sarah Jessica.”

While Chris claims Sarah Jessica can be a diva, crew on the set of the first ‘Sex and the City’ movie insisted she was very down-to-earth and impressed them with her hard work.

A source said at the time of shooting the 2008 film: “Sarah Jessica is the hardest worker on set. She never complains or acts like a diva – she shows up first and leaves last each night.

Warner Home Video has just released a new clip from the new DC Universe animated movie Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.  The animated film will be released on February 23 and it’s rooted in DC Comics’ popular canon of “Crisis” stories depicting parallel worlds with uniquely similar super heroes and villains.  The scene WHV released basically sets up the film’s primary conflict with Lex Luthor (voiced by Chris Noth) explaining the plight of his Earth, and attempting to recruit the Justice League to join the battle against the Crime Syndicate.  Hi the jump to check it out.  I’ve also posted the full trailer.

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths is an original story from award-winning animation/comics writer Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League) rooted in DC Comics’ popular canon of “Crisis” stories depicting parallel worlds with uniquely similar super heroes and villains. Bruce Timm (Superman Doomsday, Green Lantern) is executive producer. Lauren Montgomery (Wonder Woman, Green Lantern) and Sam Liu (Superman/Batman: Public Enemies) are co-directors.
